任何种类的小型机械被摧毁后，都有几率掉落机械臂。也就是说，随着敌人等级的提高，掉落几率也会增加，这使得机械臂在游戏初期非常稀有。如果你在游戏前期急需机械臂，就需要快速消灭更多机械。
第四章之后，你会第一次遇到并与亚当战斗。你战斗的坑洞会不断生成敌人，每隔几秒钟就会出现许多小型机械。要到达这里，请使用快速旅行前往沙漠：住宅区入口点，然后沿着道路深入废墟。
进入坑洞后，敌人会不断刷新。这些机械等级不高，所以机械臂的掉落率很低，但至少机械的刷新率使这里成为你前期刷取的最佳地点。这也是刷取钛合金的好方法。
你可以装备掉落率插件芯片来加快这个过程，但效果有限。
