Magic: The Gathering's Next Set Is a Death Race, Here Are 2 New Cards
Magic: The Gathering's next set, Aetherdrift, plunges players into a thrilling multiversal death race. We have an exclusive sneak peek at two new cards: Cloudspire Coordinator and Count on Luck.

Cloudspire Coordinator, an uncommon card, showcases the red-white pairing in Aetherdrift. Representing the Cloudspire Racing Team from the plane of Kylem (introduced in Battlebond), this creature focuses on vehicle piloting. Its 3 power allows it to crew vehicles, while its activated ability creates Pilot tokens for additional crewing. This makes it a solid choice for red-white decks in Aetherdrift drafts.
The rare card, Count on Luck, is a 3-mana enchantment with a straightforward, all-red casting cost. At the start of each of your turns, you exile the top card of your library and can play it that turn. This "impulse draw" mechanic consistently provides extra cards for mono-red decks, offering a powerful, if fleeting, advantage.
Count on Luck also features extended-art and First-Place Foil versions. The extended-art version offers a wider view of the artwork, while the First-Place Foil cards, shiny golden versions, are a new addition to Aetherdrift. These are available only in randomized buy-a-box promo packs included with each Aetherdrift box, encompassing all rares in the set and 10 full-art lands.
