In a recent interview, game director Guangyun Chen revealed that each seasonal update is divided into two parts. The first half of the season will feature the introduction of one new hero, followed by the addition of another hero in the second half. In addition to new heroes, Marvel Rivals will also offer updates that include new maps, storylines, and objectives, enhancing the overall gaming experience. Among the characters already announced are Blade, who is yet to be playable, and Altron, known through leaks. The entire Fantastic Four team has also been recently unveiled, adding to the anticipation and excitement surrounding the game.

According to the Chinese publication GameLook, Marvel Rivals has generated approximately $100 million globally, with a significant portion of the earnings coming from the Chinese market.
