Get ready for the launch of Marvel Rivals Season 1: Eternal Night Falls on January 10th at 1 AM PST! NetEase Games has revealed exciting details in a new developer video blog, including the arrival of Mister Fantastic (Duelist) and The Invisible Woman (Strategist), a new game mode, and fresh maps.

This three-month season will introduce 10 new skins via a battle pass costing 990 Lattice, with a reward of 600 Lattice and 600 Units upon completion. The Thing and Human Torch are slated to join the roster six to seven weeks into the season.

Key Highlights:

• New Characters: Mister Fantastic and The Invisible Woman, followed by The Thing and Human Torch.
• New Game Mode: Doom Match – an arcade-style battle royale for 8-12 players, with the top 50% declared victorious.
• New Maps:
  • Empire of the Eternal Night: Sanctum Sanctorum (featured in Doom Match)
  • Empire of the Eternal Night: Midtown (for convoy missions)
  • Empire of the Eternal Night: Central Park (launching in six to seven weeks)
• Battle Pass: 10 new skins, 600 Lattice, and 600 Units earned back.

The Baxter Building will also feature prominently in one of the new maps. While details on Central Park remain scarce, the developers emphasized their commitment to addressing player feedback, particularly concerning balance issues like the perceived strength of ranged characters such as Hawkeye. These adjustments are planned for the first half of Season 1. Rumors of a potential PvE mode were not addressed in this update.
