Marvel Snap has just launched a thrilling limited-time mode called Sanctum Showdown, and it's here to shake things up until March 11th. This event introduces a unique way to compete, with a fresh win condition, a special Sanctum location, and innovative snapping mechanics that will keep you on your toes.

In the Sanctum Showdown mode, the traditional six-turn gameplay is out the window. Victory now belongs to the first player who reaches 16 points. The spotlight is on the Sanctum location, which awards the highest points each turn. Snapping takes on a new twist here: starting from turn three, you can snap once per turn to boost the Sanctum's value by one point, keeping the game's momentum constantly shifting.

Jumping into a match will cost you one Scroll, but a win will replenish your stock, allowing you to keep the action rolling. You'll start with 12 Scrolls, with two more added every eight hours. If you find yourself short, Scrolls can be purchased for 40 Gold. No matter the match's outcome, you'll be climbing the Sorcerer Rank ladder and collecting Charms, which you can spend in the Sanctum Shop on dazzling cosmetics or powerful new cards.

Thinking about using Captain Marvel or Dracula to turn the tide? Think again. To ensure fair play, certain cards and locations are banned in this mode, including those with abilities that affect final outcomes.
