Meet the Dwarves in Stardew Valley: A Guide to Friendship
This guide helps you befriend the mysterious Dwarf in Stardew Valley. He's a unique character, requiring you to learn Dwarvish to build a relationship.
Meeting the Dwarf:
Find the large boulder blocking his shop on the first floor of the mines (right of the entrance). Break it with a copper pickaxe or bomb.
Learning Dwarvish:
Donate all four Dwarf Scrolls to the museum. Gunther will reward you with a Dwarvish translation guide. Now you can understand the Dwarf!
Gifting the Dwarf:
Friendship is built through gifts (up to two per week). His birthday is Summer 22nd (gifts given then are worth 8x the points).

Invite the Dwarf to the movies. He loves all movies but has preferences for snacks: Loves Stardrop Sorbet and Rock Candy; Likes Cotton Candy, Ice Cream Sandwich, Jawbreaker, Salmon Burger, Sour Slimes, and Star Cookie.
