Xbox Game Pass is enhancing its rewards program with new Quests and increased earning opportunities, exclusively for players 18 and older. Starting January 7th, PC Game Pass users will gain access to these features, previously limited to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.

This expansion aims to create age-appropriate gaming experiences. Consequently, the updated Rewards Hub and its associated benefits will be unavailable to users under 18.

Key improvements include:

• Quests for PC Game Pass: PC users now join Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members in earning points through Quests.
• Daily, Weekly, and Monthly Quests: Earn points through daily playtime (15 minutes minimum), weekly streaks (with increasing multipliers for consecutive weeks), and monthly challenges involving playing multiple games.
• New Quest Types: These include "Daily Play," "Weekly Streaks" (with escalating point multipliers up to 4x for four-week streaks), "Monthly 4-Pack," and "Monthly 8-Pack," encouraging exploration of the Game Pass catalog.
• PC Weekly Bonus: A 150-point bonus for playing at least 15 minutes for five or more days a week.

The updated system simplifies point accumulation, offering multiple daily, weekly, and monthly avenues for reward earning. Players can maximize points by maintaining weekly streaks and exploring a diverse selection of Game Pass titles.

However, Microsoft emphasizes its commitment to age-appropriate content. Users under 18 will not have access to these new features or rewards. Rewards for younger players will be limited to parentally approved purchases from the Microsoft Store.
