Microsoft unveils its highly anticipated Xbox Game Pass January 2025 Wave 2 game roster.

The Xbox Wire announcement precedes Microsoft’s Xbox Developer Direct event on January 23, showcasing upcoming Day One Game Pass titles like Doom: The Dark Ages, South of Midnight, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, and an undisclosed fourth reveal.

Wave 2 launches today, January 21, featuring Lonely Mountains: Snow Riders (Cloud, PC, Xbox Series X|S) as its premiere title for Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass subscribers. The official description promises: "Conquer treacherous slopes through repetitive mastery in this snowy sequel.
