Monster Hunter Now's 2025 Spring Festival update, running from April 14th to April 27th, brings a host of exciting new content to the game. This seasonal event introduces new gear and an aggressive new monster to challenge players.

Who’s the New Monster?

The new monster making its debut is the fearsome Ebony Odogaron. Unlike a mere reskin, this variant is significantly more aggressive than its standard counterpart. You'll recognize the Ebony Odogaron by the black smoke it emits from its mouth. It can be encountered in various environments, including forests, deserts, swamps, and tundra. Be prepared for a tough battle, as Ebony Odogaron has a broader roaming area and a more hostile demeanor. Alongside Ebony Odogaron, you’ll also encounter Kulu-Ya-Ku and other familiar monsters during the Spring Festival 2025 event quests.

During the event, players can collect Spring and Rainbow Eggs by defeating monsters or participating in special Hunt-a-thons. These eggs can be traded at the Event Exchange Hub for fantastic items, enhancing your gameplay experience.

The excitement ramps up on April 18th with the introduction of Giant Egg Toys in Hunt-a-thons. Breaking these toys will reward you with a large number of exchangeable Eggs, adding to your collection.

Throughout the event, limited-time quests offer exclusive rewards. Completing these quests allows you to earn the Spring Festival 2025 medal, a unique Guild Card background, and Spring 2025 Armor and Weapon Tickets. Additionally, spring-themed equipment packs are available for players to enhance their arsenal.
