Mortal Kombat 1 released Conan the Barbarian gameplay trailer
Mortal Kombat 1 has unveiled two consecutive character reveals. Yesterday's esports trailer teased the T-1000, but the Terminator isn't the next fighter. Instead, Conan the Barbarian arrives next week for premium edition owners, with today's release of his gameplay trailer.
Conan's gameplay showcases a powerful, heavy-hitting style. His attacks appear devastating, though his lack of agility and speed might be a drawback. His sword's reach may compensate for this, but matchups against characters like General Shao, Omni-Man, and Homelander will be intriguing.
While visually reminiscent of Arnold Schwarzenegger, Conan's fatality lacks the spectacular impact of some others. His acid-drowning finish is relatively underwhelming. However, fun gameplay is paramount, and Conan may well deliver on that front.
Premium edition owners gain early access on Tuesday, while everyone else must wait until January 28th.
