Hotta Studios' upcoming open-world RPG, Neverness to Everness, is gearing up for its first closed beta test – exclusively in mainland China. While international players won't be able to participate, they can still follow the progress as the game nears release.

Gematsu recently highlighted new lore details, expanding on the comedic elements and the blend of the bizarre and ordinary within the game's world, Hetherau. The city of Eibon, showcased in previous trailers (see below), provides a glimpse into this unique setting.

Developed by Hotta Studios (a subsidiary of Perfect World, creators of Tower of Fantasy), Neverness to Everness distinguishes itself within the evolving 3D RPG landscape with a key feature: open-world driving. Players can purchase and customize various vehicles, experiencing the thrill (and consequences) of high-speed city driving.

However, the game faces significant competition upon release.
