Nexon Announces the EOS of Dynasty Warriors M Just a Year After Its Launch
Nexon announces the end of service (EOS) for Dynasty Warriors: Unleashed, the mobile game based on the popular Dynasty Warriors franchise. Players who have been commanding their armies and conquering foes should make the most of the remaining time.
In-app purchases were already halted on December 19th, 2024. While Nexon expressed gratitude to the community, no specific reason for the game's closure was given.
The shutdown wasn't entirely unexpected, given the game's underperformance. Launched in November 2023 by Nexon and Koei Tecmo Games, its lifespan will be just over a year.
Dynasty Warriors: Unleashed EOS Date:
The final battle will conclude on February 20th, 2025. A final update is planned for this month.
Dynasty Warriors: Unleashed offered a unique twist on the classic hack-and-slash gameplay, blending Musou action with strategic elements. Players could collect and train 50 officers from five factions, battling across a large map featuring 13 regions and 500 stages.
The story mode recreated famous historical events such as the Yellow Turban Rebellion and the Battle of Luoyang. Those interested in experiencing Dynasty Warriors: Unleashed before its closure can download it from the Google Play Store.
