Nvidia's DLSS 4: 8X Performance Boost with Multi-Frame Generation

Nvidia has unveiled DLSS 4 at CES 2025, a significant upgrade to its Deep Learning Super Sampling technology, exclusively for the new GeForce RTX 50 Series GPUs. This release introduces Multi-Frame Generation, a revolutionary feature capable of generating up to three additional frames per rendered frame, resulting in up to an 8X performance increase. This allows for stunning 4K gaming at 240 FPS with full ray tracing enabled.

DLSS 4 leverages advanced AI, including the first real-time implementation of transformer-based models in graphics rendering. This leads to superior image quality, improved temporal stability, and a reduction in visual artifacts.
