The original O2Jam, launched in 2003, essentially pioneered the rhythm game genre. However, after its publisher's bankruptcy, the game was discontinued. Subsequent attempts at a comeback on various platforms, including an Android release in March 2020 by Valofe, fell short of recreating the original's appeal.
