The Android indie shoot'em up, Phoenix 2, has received a massive update brimming with new content and features. Fans of its fast-paced action and strategic gameplay should read on to discover what's new.

New Content and Features:

The most significant addition is the brand-new campaign mode. No longer limited to daily missions, players can now immerse themselves in a story-driven experience spanning 30 meticulously crafted missions. These missions utilize characters from the Phoenix 2 universe, providing a unique and engaging challenge for both veterans and newcomers. The campaign offers a refreshing change of pace from the daily challenges and includes a visually stunning Starmap to enhance exploration.

Customization options have also been expanded with the introduction of custom player tags. VIP players can now personalize their leaderboard entries, choosing from a variety of designs and customizing colors and information to create a truly unique tag. These customized tags remain on the leaderboard permanently.

Controller support is another key feature of this update. Players who prefer using a gamepad will find Phoenix 2 now fully compatible with modern controllers.

Interface Enhancements:

Speedrunners and competitive players will appreciate the addition of wave progress indicators and a new timer during missions, providing better real-time feedback during intense gameplay.

In addition to these major changes, the update includes several smaller improvements and bug fixes, including updated character portraits.
