Sony has revealed an exciting lineup of PlayStation Plus Essential titles for April 2025, featuring RoboCop: Rogue City (PS5), The Texas Chain Saw Massacre (PS4, PS5), and Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth – Hacker’s Memory (PS4). These titles were announced in a PlayStation.Blog post today, and they will be available to subscribers at no additional cost from April 1 until May 5.

The April 2025 lineup caters to a diverse range of gaming preferences. For fans of first-person shooters, RoboCop: Rogue City developed by Teyon and Nacon offers a nostalgic journey back to the '80s. Players step into the shoes of Alex Murphy, tasked with saving a crime-ridden Detroit. A significant update in January of the previous year added a New Game Plus mode, enhancing the replayability of this title, which we rated 7/10 in our review at launch.

For those who enjoy multiplayer horror experiences, The Texas Chain Saw Massacre by Sumo Digital and Gun Media provides an intense asymmetrical gameplay experience. Players can either try to survive or take on the role of the Slaughter Family, including the infamous Leatherface. Our review at launch gave it a 6/10, noting it as a technically challenging yet entertaining game.

Rounding out the lineup, Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth – Hacker’s Memory from Bandai Namco offers a more relaxed pace with its turn-based monster collecting gameplay. Released in 2018, it features over 320 Digimon to encounter and collect, presenting a fresh perspective on the events of the original Cyber Sleuth story.

As these titles become available next week, PlayStation Plus subscribers should also remember to download the March 2025 titles, including Dragon Age: The Veilguard, Sonic Colors: Ultimate, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Cowabunga Collection, before they are replaced on March 31. This lineup provided a strong set of games for subscribers to enjoy, making it a great time for both current and potential new subscribers to take advantage of the service.
