The Pocket Gamer Awards 2024 winners are finally here, following two months of nominations and voting! While some winners were anticipated, a few surprises emerged in the public vote categories. This year's mobile gaming landscape has been exceptionally strong, a fact clearly reflected in the results.

The awards journey has been remarkable, highlighting the industry's significant growth since our inaugural event in 2010 (with only one reader's choice category). Having witnessed the entire process from the October nominations, it's been a resounding success. This isn't just about the sheer volume of votes (which was substantial), but also the feeling that, for the first time, our winners truly represent the broader mobile gaming industry.

The list includes giants like NetEase (with Sony's Destiny IP), Tencent-backed Supercell, and Scopely, alongside established publishers such as Konami and Bandai Namco, and beloved indie developers like Rusty Lake and Emoak. The year also saw a significant rise in successful ports, mirroring the PC adaptation of mobile classics, but in reverse. This trend is evident in the three outstanding port winners.
