Pokémon GO Fest 2025: A Global Celebration for All Trainers

Steam Pokémon Volcanion Makes Its Debut

Niantic is thrilled to announce that Pokémon GO Fest 2025 will take place this summer in three spectacular global locations:

• May 29 – June 1 – Osaka, Japan (Expo ’70 Commemorative Park)
• June 6 – June 8 – Jersey City, New Jersey, USA (Liberty State Park)
• June 13 – June 15 – Paris, France (Parc de Sceaux)

This year’s festival brings a special surprise—the debut appearance of the elusive Steam Pokémon, Volcanion, available exclusively through a unique Special Research storyline. Trainers attending any of the regional events will have the opportunity to encounter Volcanion once per ticket purchased. Please note that while multiple tickets can be obtained, each Trainer is only eligible for one Volcanion encounter. Additional Special Research purchases will reward Volcanion Candy instead.

Tickets for the regional events are now available for purchase via the official Niantic Pokémon GO website. Pricing varies by location—make sure to secure your spot early as availability is limited!

Limited Edition Festival Merchandise Now Available for Pre-Order

Please be aware that certain items, such as the Lapel Pin and limited edition Pikachu, Gengar, and Wobuffet backpacks, are exclusive to the Jersey City and Paris events. These items will not be available for pickup during the Osaka leg of the festival.
