A Celebration of the Pokémon TCG Community
The Pokémon Company International is thrilled to announce its new reality show, "Pokémon: Trainer Tour," launching globally on Prime Video and the Roku Channel on July 31st.
Hosts Meghan Camarena (Strawburry17) and Andrew Mahone (Tricky Gym) take viewers on a cross-country journey to meet and mentor aspiring Pokémon Trading Card Game (TCG) trainers. Traveling in a Pikachu-themed bus, they'll connect with passionate Pokémon fans from all backgrounds, sharing their stories and love for the Pokémon brand and TCG.
Andy Gose, Senior Director of Media Production at The Pokémon Company International, calls the show "a groundbreaking series, showcasing the incredible diversity within the Pokémon fanbase." He adds, "We're proud to highlight the connections forged through the Pokémon TCG."
Since its 1996 debut, the Pokémon TCG has captivated millions. Now, nearly 30 years later, it's a global phenomenon with a passionate and competitive community.
"Pokémon: Trainer Tour" celebrates the game and its players, providing an intimate look at the experiences and stories of the diverse individuals who make up the Pokémon community.
All eight episodes of "Pokémon: Trainer Tour" premiere on Prime Video and the Roku Channel July 31st. The first episode is also available on the official Pokémon YouTube channel.
