PUBG Mobile Esports World Cup: 12 Teams Remain!

The first stage of the PUBG Mobile Esports World Cup (EWC), held in Saudi Arabia as part of the larger Gamers8 event, has concluded. The initial field of 24 teams has been narrowed down to a final 12, setting the stage for a thrilling final showdown. These 12 teams will compete for a share of the $3 million prize pool.

For those unfamiliar with the EWC, it's an esports tournament showcasing some of the biggest gaming titles. PUBG Mobile's participation has proven highly successful, with Alliance currently leading the pack.

Following a week's break, the final stage will take place from July 27th to 28th. Before then, however, the 12 eliminated teams will have a second chance. On July 23rd and 24th, they'll battle it out in the Survival Stage, vying for two coveted spots in the main event.

While the EWC is a significant event, it's important to note that it's not the largest on PUBG Mobile's esports calendar. Other major competitions are planned for later this year.
