The acclaimed cyberpunk anime game, Punishing: Gray Raven, gets a major content update, "Blazing Simulacrum," featuring a crossover with the popular BLACK★ROCK SHOOTER franchise. This is arguably the most substantial update since the game's launch.

The update includes a new story chapter, new and returning SFX coatings, numerous limited-time events, and a brand-new A-Rank Omniframe: BLACK★ROCK SHOOTER herself. Her exclusive coating, "Elder Flame," is also part of the release.

BLACK★ROCK SHOOTER boasts a high chance of acquisition (within 10 pulls), making her accessible to new players. She wields the exclusive Bladed Cannon, "★Rock Cannon," and possesses unique skills, including the ability to inflict damage while unleashing her signature move. She's an ideal addition to fire-based teams. Her design meticulously recreates the original character's style, from her signature blue flame to her iconic weapon and costume.

Set in a dystopian future, humanity faces annihilation at the hands of the Corrupted—robots twisted by a biomechanical virus known as The Punishing. The remnants of humanity seek refuge on the space station Babylonia, where players, leading the Gray Raven special forces, must build an army and reclaim their lost world.

Since its 2021 release, Punishing: Gray Raven has received numerous updates, maintaining its fast-paced ARPG gameplay and player engagement. In 2023, Kuro Games launched a PC client and an English dub.
