Ubisoft remains tight-lipped about Far Cry 7, but whispers of a casting call leak hint at intriguing details for the next chapter. Reddit users claim the storyline will center on a fierce power struggle within the affluent Bennett family, mirroring the dramatic tensions of HBO's Succession.

The leaked cast includes family members Layla, Dax, Bry, Christian, Henry, and Christa Bennett. A prominent antagonist emerges: Ian Duncan, a conspiracy theorist with a fervent following, whose disdain for the elite fuels his ambitions. Supporting roles may be filled by John McKay and Dr. Safna Kazan.

The most surprising revelation? The potential setting: New England. This would mark a first for the Far Cry franchise. While Ubisoft hasn't confirmed this, casting call references to New England lend credence to the rumor. The diverse landscapes of Maine, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, and other New England states could provide a compellingly different backdrop for the series' signature brand of mayhem.

Adding to the speculation, industry insider Tom Henderson previously hinted at a possible two-part release for Far Cry 7, both potentially arriving in 2026. Until official confirmation from Ubisoft, however, these details remain unverified and subject to change during development.
