Serial Cleaner, the quirky crime-scene cleanup puzzler, is making a comeback! Originally released in 2019, this title is returning to mobile platforms. Whether this will be a simple port or a fully revamped experience remains to be seen.

The game throws you into the gritty, yet cartoonish, 1970s. As Bob Leaner, your job is to discreetly erase evidence of mob violence – bodies, bloodstains, the whole shebang – all while dodging the ever-watchful police.

Our previous review (2019) noted its potential but also its shortcomings. Developer Plug-In Digital is now handling publishing, offering a chance for improvement.

A Retro Revival?

Pre-registration is open, with a February 11th, 2025 release date. While a polished re-release would be welcome, given the time elapsed, significant changes might be optimistic.

The core concept remains compelling, but a straightforward mobile port dampens expectations somewhat. However, for Android users who missed out, or iOS players facing compatibility issues, this could be a welcome addition to their mobile game library.
