The initial Wintervestigation quest directs you to SGT. Winter for a briefing. These quests appear to involve teaming with Noir to uncover clues and discover new NPCs across the Chapter 6 map.
The quest marker pinpoints SGT. Winter's location—a snowy mountain peak near a plane crash site—even before you enter a match. While not a named Point of Interest (POI), it's close to several and Mariah Carey's in-game concert location. Locate the snowy mountain east of Warrior's Watch and south of Foxy Floodgate.
Finding and Talking to SGT. Winter
SGT. Winter patrols near the plane wreckage, marked by a speech bubble icon on your map and HUD. Interact with him to access a menu offering a Holo Twister Assault Rifle, Blizzard Grenade, or conversation options.
Select the magnifying glass icon to initiate dialogue about the Wintervestigation. He'll provide a new mission, sending you to Noir in Seaport City. Completing the conversation rewards 25,000 XP.
