Trainers, get ready! Pokémon GO's Fashion Week: Taken Over event brings a new addition to the Pokédex: Shroodle! This Poison-type Mouse Pokémon, originally from Pokémon Scarlet & Violet, arrives on January 15, 2025. However, unlike many other Pokémon, Shroodle won't be readily found in the wild.

Shroodle's Debut and Shiny Availability:

Shroodle makes its Pokémon GO debut on January 15th, 2025, as part of the Fashion Week: Taken Over event. Important note: at launch, Shroodle will not have a Shiny variant available.

Catching Shroodle:

Forget wild encounters; Shroodle is exclusively hatched from 12KM Eggs. These eggs become available starting January 15th at 12:00 AM local time. While more frequent during the event, 12KM Eggs containing Shroodle will remain in the egg pool afterward.

Obtaining 12KM Eggs:

To obtain the coveted 12KM Eggs, you'll need to battle Team GO Rocket Leaders (Sierra, Arlo, and Cliff) or Giovanni. The Fashion Week: Taken Over event is an ideal time to stock up, as Rocket Radars will be more accessible. Remember, you can challenge GO Rocket Grunts at any time to encounter these Leaders.

Evolving Shroodle into Grafaiai:

Grafaiai, Shroodle's evolution, also arrives on January 15th. It's not available through eggs or wild spawns. To obtain Grafaiai, you must evolve your Shroodle using 50 Shroodle Candy. Walking your Shroodle as your buddy is a great way to accumulate the necessary Candy.
