What is Battlefield Labs?

EA's Battlefield Labs program invites players to actively participate in shaping the next Battlefield title. Selected fans will gain exclusive access to early, remote playtests, providing invaluable feedback directly to the developers at EA's Battlefield Studios. Think of it as a direct line to the war room!

Initially, a few thousand players in Europe and North America will be chosen, with plans to expand globally to tens of thousands in the future. Battlefield Labs will be available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.

Is Battlefield Labs Different Than a Beta?

While EA has previously run betas, Battlefield Labs is a different beast. The content you'll experience will be work-in-progress, meaning expect more bugs, rough edges, and technical issues than a typical beta. This is intentional! EA wants honest feedback on combat, map flow, balance, and more. Important note: participants will be required to sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) and cannot publicly share information.

How to Sign Up for Battlefield Labs and Play Battlefield 6 Early Access

Ready to join? Visit the Battlefield Labs webpage to learn more and sign up. You'll need to log in or create an EA account, link it to your preferred platform, and then sign in. Be aware: you might encounter a queue. If so, keep an eye on the tab—you only have 15 minutes to access the website once your turn arrives.

Once you're in, fill out the required information and register your email address. Keep an eye on your inbox for updates from the official Battlefield Labs newsletter, including playtest invitations if you're selected.

EA has announced the next Battlefield game will launch in FY26, meaning sometime before April 1, 2026.
