Eclipse Glow Games Unveils "Tides of Annihilation," a New Action-Adventure Title
Revealed at Sony's 2025 State of Play event, Tides of Annihilation is a single-player action-adventure game promising a captivating narrative and intense combat. Developed by the Chengdu-based studio Eclipse Glow Games (backed by Tencent), the game features a unique blend of Arthurian myth and modern-day London, twisted by a mystical invasion.
Players assume the role of Gwendolyn, humanity's last hope, as she explores iconic London landmarks, battling otherworldly foes inspired by Arthurian legend. The combat system incorporates the summoning of spectral Knights of the Round Table, and players will face colossal skyscraper-sized bosses.
Eclipse Glow Games, comprised of over 100 developers with experience on titles like Yakuza, For Honor, Assassin's Creed, Persona, and Prince of Persia, describes Tides of Annihilation as a game that will "push the genre forward." Lead Game Producer Kun Fu stated that showcasing the game at State of Play is a significant achievement.
