The PC version of Stellar Blade is set to launch via Steam on June 11, bringing with it a host of PC-specific features, as revealed in a trailer that was inadvertently leaked by Sony. The trailer, which was briefly published by Sony Interactive Entertainment on the PlayStation YouTube channel before being removed, also announced the release of a Complete Edition of Shift Up's acclaimed PS5 action game. Despite its quick removal, the internet managed to capture and circulate the trailer, which is expected to be officially released soon.

The Complete Edition will include the base game along with all the DLC released to date for both PS5 and PC platforms. This news comes more than a year after Stellar Blade's successful launch on PS5 in April 2024.

Stellar Blade on PC will feature all the enhancements you'd expect, such as AI upscaling with Nvidia DLSS 4 and AMD FSR 3, an unlocked framerate, Japanese and Chinese voiceover options, support for ultrawide displays, higher resolution environment textures, and DualSense compatibility for haptic feedback and trigger effects.

The trailer also teased a new boss battle against Mann, Leader of the Sentinels, and introduced 25 new costumes, which are expected to be available on PS5 as well. An intriguing detail at the end of the trailer shows Eve releasing a memory stick, a scene not present in the original game. This has sparked speculation about a potential new ending or additional DLC for Stellar Blade.

The trailer confirms the release of the Stellar Blade Complete Edition for both PC and PS5. Stellar Blade was a major success for Korean developer Shift Up, generating $43 million in royalties in its last financial year. The studio anticipates that the PC version will surpass the sales of the PS5 version, which sold over a million copies within two months. Shift Up is also considering developing another game in the franchise.

In Stellar Blade, players control Eve as she fights against mysterious invaders to reclaim Earth in a fast-paced action RPG. The game received a 7/10 from IGN, praised for its action elements but critiqued for its characters, story, and certain RPG mechanics. Despite these criticisms, Stellar Blade quickly sold a million copies, proving its popularity among gamers.
