Stellar Blade director Kim Hyung Tae has reportedly expressed full support for modding and personal excitement about experimenting with mods.

According to multiple sources, Kim was asked about his stance on modding during a press conference in Yeouido, South Korea. He responded: "First, I completely support players using mods. In fact, I'm eager to try some of the more innovative mods myself."

"I anticipate seeing many players develop their own mods and healthy competition emerging over whose creations are most engaging. I also hope more players dive into mod creation."

This enthusiasm comes despite the fact that the game hasn't even launched on PC yet—yet dozens of mods for the demo already populate Nexus Mods, offering everything from cosmetic skins and graphical reshades to VR support and even nail polish adjustments. Several other mods remain discreetly labeled as "adult," warranting no further elaboration.

IGN's Stellar Blade review awarded it a 7/10, stating: "While Stellar Blade excels in core action mechanics, its forgettable characters, underwhelming narrative, and frustrating RPG elements prevent it from reaching the genre's peak."

The PC version of Stellar Blade arrives on Steam on June 11, introducing several PC-exclusive enhancements, including:

• Nvidia DLSS 4 and AMD FSR 3 AI upscaling
• Unlocked framerate
• Japanese and Chinese voiceovers
• Ultrawide monitor compatibility
• Higher-resolution environmental textures
• DualSense controller support for haptics and adaptive triggers

Originally restricted in over 100 countries, the game is now available for pre-order across 250+ regions. Despite references to multiplayer in the game files, no official multiplayer mode exists—and no known mods currently enable it either.
