April 9

⚫︎ SHIFT UP, the developer behind Stellar Blade, has partnered with figure maker JND Studios to release hyper-realistic 1/3 scale figures of characters EVE and Tachy. Pre-orders for the Dual version, priced at $3,599, opened on April 18 and sold out within minutes. The individual EVE figure, priced at $2,199, still has limited stock available. These stunning statues are set to be released in Q3 2026.

April 9

⚫︎ JND Studios, in collaboration with Shift-Up, will produce officially licensed, hyper-realistic figurines of Stellar Blade's protagonist Eve and the eighth boss Tachy. The partnership was first announced in July 2024, and on April 8, 2025, JND confirmed the characters to be sculpted. These collectibles are slated for release later this year.

⚫︎ During the latest State of Play, Shift Up revealed that Stellar Blade will be available on PC starting June 2025. Alongside this announcement, they confirmed the release of the Goddess of Victory: Nikke DLC in the same month, which will include a new boss battle, collectible dolls and stickers, and a new outfit.

⚫︎ To celebrate a successful 2023 debut of Stellar Blade on PlayStation 5, Shift Up Studio has gifted each employee a PlayStation 5 Pro console and a collective monetary bonus of ¥1,000,000 (approximately $32,000). This gesture aims to encourage talent within the studio following Stellar Blade’s positive reviews, strong sales, and multiple nominations at The Game Awards.

December 17

⚫︎ Stellar Blade's protagonist Eve won the Best New Character category at the PlayStation Blog's Game of the Year 2024 Awards. Eve competed against strong contenders such as Jane Harrow from Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, Emmrich Volkarin from Dragon Age: The Veilguard, and Ryoma Sakamoto from Rise of the Rōnin. Notable write-in mentions included Strohl from Metaphor: ReFantazio, Wuk Lamat from Final Fantasy XIV: Dawntrail, and General Brasch from Helldivers 2.

⚫︎ Stellar Blade is hosting a holiday event in Xion starting December 17, 2024. The city square and The Last Gulp gathering hall will be adorned with festive lights, a vibrant Christmas tree, and seasonal decorations. The in-camp ambience will feature new BGM tracks, "Dawn (Winter)" and "Take Me Away," providing a soothing backdrop. A holiday-themed mini-game will also be introduced, offering players lighthearted fun and rewards.

November 26

⚫︎ Shift Up has released a patch to address issues introduced with the Stellar Blade x Nier Automata update. This free update added Nier Automata-themed cosmetics and a new Photo Mode, but caused crashes and missing costumes. The hotfix improves Photo Mode stability and restores any missing Nier Automata outfits, ensuring players can enjoy their hard-earned rewards without interruption.

⚫︎ Stellar Blade's technical director Donki Lee announced two major updates on November 11, 2024. The first is a free update (version 1.009.001) that includes four new outfits, one accessory, expanded lip-sync support, and a new photo mode. The second update is the announcement of the first paid DLC, a crossover with NieR: Automata, developed collaboratively by Directors Kim Hyung Tae and Yoko Taro, reflecting the influence of Automata on Stellar Blade.

⚫︎ Despite high expectations, Stellar Blade did not receive a Game of the Year nomination at The Game Awards, sparking debate on social media, particularly given the inclusion of Elden Ring's DLC.
