Indie game developer Sander Frenken has unveiled the alpha testing phase for his upcoming title, Battledom. This RTS-lite game acts as a spiritual successor to his 2020 hit, Herodom. Developed over two years by Frenken, a part-time developer, Battledom closely resembles his initial vision for Herodom.

Battledom features dynamic RTS combat, enabling players to freely maneuver units across the battlefield. Players directly target enemies and manually operate siege weapons for devastating attacks. Strategic formations enhance the gameplay experience.

Players use in-game currency to recruit units, initially equipped with basic weapons and no armor. Customization is key; players equip units with various weapons and armor pieces, impacting stats like range, accuracy, defense, and attack power.

Resource gathering is crucial. Players collect materials like wood, leather, and coal within their village to craft these upgrades at the blacksmith, magician, or other specialized crafters.

Frenken's previous success, Herodom, enjoys a 4.6 App Store rating. This tower defense game features over 55 collectible heroes, 150 units and siege weapons, and historically-inspired battles. Progression unlocks new character customizations and farm additions.
