For those unfamiliar, The Hidden Ones is a fast-paced brawler set within the rich lore of the Hitori No Shita universe. It seamlessly blends Eastern philosophies like Taoism and Yin Yang with modern martial arts combat.

The game emphasizes character mastery, encouraging players to understand each character's unique philosophy and abilities. Players will unravel a cinematic storyline focusing on the Outcasts, facing progressively challenging bosses in multiple levels. These boss battles are directly linked to the overarching martial arts saga and dynamically evolve alongside the player's progress.

Multiple game modes are planned, including a competitive Duel mode featuring intense player-versus-player battles and an innovative action roulette mechanic that allows players to temporarily acquire other characters' skills.
