TF2 Comic Finale Surprises Fans with Smissmas Release
A long-awaited Christmas miracle has arrived for Team Fortress 2 fans! Valve has unexpectedly released a new comic for the team-based shooter, titled "The Days Have Worn Away." This seventh installment, and 29th overall release including special events and themed stories, marks the end of a seven-year wait since the last comic in 2017.
Valve playfully acknowledged the extended development time, likening it to the construction of the Leaning Tower of Pisa. They humorously pointed out that unlike the Tower's builders, TF2 players only experienced a "mere" seven-year wait.

The new comic provides a satisfying conclusion to the existing storyline, hinting strongly at the possibility of no further installments. This was suggested by Erik Wolpaw's tweet on X, referring to "the very last meeting" for the TF2 comic. While the future of the comic series remains uncertain, fans can now enjoy a satisfying narrative closure and a festive holiday treat.
