As an Archer, your most effective strategy is to maintain a safe distance from enemies and rely on your arrows for damage. While Archers can deal substantial damage, they are not built to withstand it.

Archers don medium armor, which offers more protection than light armor but less than heavy armor. Unlike their counterparts who wear light armor, such as Magicians or Priests, Archers lack protective spells or the durability of heavy armor. Instead, Archers depend on teammates and, crucially, their Pets to absorb damage.

Tamed Pets are essential for Archers. Initially, your pet options may be limited, but as you progress, Archers gain access to unique pets that enhance their power, making them one of the most versatile classes in Rune Slayer.

How to Get Beast Tamer in Rune Slayer

At Level 30, like all classes in Rune Slayer, Archers must choose a subclass. You have the option to specialize as a Sharpshooter or a Beast Tamer. Opt for Beast Tamer as soon as you reach level 30.
