Ultimate Arise Crossover: Beginner's Guide (Beta)
Arise Crossover might seem like a simple game at first glance. You gather Shadow units, attack enemies (who can’t even fight back), and grow stronger until there’s nothing left to conquer. Easy, right? Well, we’ve made it all the way to the end of the game and noticed that even experienced players often get stuck trying to figure out how to level up efficiently, which Shadows to use, and how to progress further. If that sounds like you, then this guide is exactly what you need.
How Shadows Work in Arise Crossover

Each of the three islands in Arise Crossover offers multiple recruitable Shadows, along with one powerful dungeon-exclusive unit. At the start of the game, Soondoo is your weakest available unit—but by the time you reach Brum Island, you’ll unlock Mifalcon, currently the strongest Shadow in the game.
However, strength isn’t just about type—it's all about rank.
A Rank A Soondoo can outperform a Rank D Mifalcon. Higher-ranked units not only hit harder but also have higher maximum levels. For instance:
- Rank D units max out at Level 75
- SS Rank units can go all the way to Level 200
This means your ultimate goal should be to collect four SS Rank Mifalcons, though getting there is half the fun.

Dungeon portals appear every 30 minutes and remain active for 15 minutes. Even if you join one second before the portal closes, you can still complete the full dungeon without interruption.
Portals spawn randomly across each island and vary in difficulty. Here’s how to make the most of them:
- Start with a team of Rank D units
- Attempt Rank D or C dungeons on Leveling Island
- Dungeons are the only way to recruit Rare Units and higher-tier common units
When a new portal opens, don’t hesitate—join it! Even if your squad isn’t top-tier, stand near the portal and wait for someone else to invite you. Many players can solo these dungeons and won’t mind carrying others through.
We were once boosted through a Rank A dungeon with our Rank C team, allowing us to recruit stronger units and eventually reach endgame content. Later, we helped others do the same in Rank S dungeons. Helping others is part of the community spirit—embrace it.
Arise Crossover Weapons

In the current Beta phase, weapons play a minimal role in combat effectiveness. They may help during early gameplay, but once you reach the second island, their usefulness drops significantly.
Take the Iron Kando Blade, currently the strongest common weapon in the game. It costs 60 million gold and deals 516K damage—but our units are already dishing out 200–400 million per hit.
Unless you’re swimming in cash, it’s best to hold off on investing in weapons until future updates improve their value.
How to Get a Mount in Arise Crossover

Wild mounts spawn every 15 minutes on the server. Only one player can attempt to capture each mount when it appears, and a global message will notify everyone of the spawn.
Mounts can appear in six different locations—on major islands, between islands, or on smaller landmasses. You can refer to the official Trello map for exact spawn points:

Keep in mind:
- You cannot claim the same mount more than once
- Capturing a mount can fail
- Flying mounts are rare (around a 10% spawn chance)
- Ground mounts are common
- Water mounts can be purchased from the Boat Shop NPC
If you're after a mount, follow the server messages and quickly check all six possible spawn points. Flying mounts aren’t essential for progression, but they definitely make travel faster and more enjoyable.
That’s everything you need to know to start progressing confidently in Arise Crossover. As the game evolves, so will this guide. In the meantime, be sure to check out the latest Arise Crossover [ttpp] for some exclusive free rewards!
