Bandai Namco Entertainment, the publisher behind Elden Ring, has partnered with Rebel Wolves to publish their debut action RPG, Dawnwalker.

Rebel Wolves, a Polish studio founded by key figures from The Witcher 3, has secured a global publishing agreement with Bandai Namco Entertainment. This partnership will bring Rebel Wolves' inaugural title, Dawnwalker, to PC, PS5, and Xbox in 2025.

Dawnwalker, a mature-rated, story-driven AAA action-RPG, is set in a dark fantasy world inspired by medieval Europe. Rebel Wolves plans to unveil more information about the game in the coming months. Established in 2022, the Warsaw-based studio aims to redefine the RPG experience with its narrative-focused approach.

Bandai Namco views Dawnwalker as a valuable addition to its portfolio. Alberto Gonzalez Lorca, VP of business development, stated, "This partnership marks a significant step in our Western market strategy. By combining our strengths, we'll deliver this exceptional game to a global audience."

Leading the creative direction is Mateusz Tomaszkiewicz, a CD Projekt Red veteran and lead quest designer on The Witcher 3, who joined Rebel Wolves earlier this year. Co-founder and narrative director Jakub Szamalek, a nine-year CD Projekt Red veteran, confirms Dawnwalker as a new IP. The game's scope is anticipated to be comparable to The Witcher 3's Blood and Wine expansion, offering a non-linear narrative.

Tomaszkiewicz previously highlighted the game's design: "We aim for replayability with diverse choices and opportunities for experimentation. Collaborating with such a talented team is a privilege, and I'm excited to showcase our work."
