The Emerald Diorama DLC introduces a brand-new stage designed with a mini world map layout, offering players a sense of exploration and world-hopping reminiscent of classic JRPGs. Alongside it, you’ll find over a dozen new playable characters, each with unique abilities—some act as puppeteers, while others unleash cursed melodies that change how you approach each run.

In addition to the new characters, the DLC adds more than 16 brand-new weapons to experiment with. One of the standout features is the introduction of the **Glimmer system**, which allows players to randomly acquire new skills mid-run, adding an extra layer of unpredictability and strategy to your survival sessions. The DLC also includes two new **Adventures**, essentially structured mini-campaigns featuring six chapters each. "**To End an Ice Age**" is available for the base game, while "**Tides of the Foscari**" expands further into the newly added Emerald Diorama content, giving players long-term goals and deeper narrative experiences.

Alongside the DLC, There's Another Free Update

In tandem with the Emerald Diorama release, *Vampire Survivors* also launched another free update called **The Coop**—a chicken-themed expansion packed with quirky additions. It introduces a new chicken character named **Gazebo**, along with a new weapon and a relic that lets you fast-forward through the early game phases.

Players can earn achievements and unlock **Darkana**, but there's a catch—you need to collect **500 lifetime floor chickens** to fully unlock the potential of the Coop update. Here's a pro tip: when starting a run in The Coop, avoid killing any enemies during the first minute. Doing so unlocks the **Gaze of Gaea**, and evolving it with **Parm Aegis** grants access to the Gazebo character.
