Netflix recently unveiled the premiere date for the anime adaptation of the iconic video game series Devil May Cry, along with a thrilling opening trailer. The trailer, set to the pulsating beats of Limp Bizkit's legendary track "Rollin'," showcases dynamic scenes featuring young Dante, Lady, and White Rabbit, packed with nods to the beloved games.

Showrunner Adi Shankar shared his vision for the series, which is set in the late 90s to early 2000s. He believes the soundtrack perfectly captures the spirit of that era. Alongside Limp Bizkit, fans can expect to hear other iconic tracks from the time, as well as a reimagined soundtrack from the games by the synthwave duo Power Glove.

Shankar also hinted at the future of the series, revealing that subsequent seasons will feature distinct visual styles and soundtracks to reflect the diversity of the Devil May Cry games. This statement suggests that the anime will extend beyond a single season.

While plot details remain under wraps, the first season is expected to draw from the manga "Code 1: Dante" (Devil May Cry 3), where a young demon hunter delves into the mystery of a missing child, confronting his past, family, and the legacy of his demon father, Sparda.
