VIVA NOBOTS is currently hosting an open alpha test on Steam, running from April 24th to May 8th, 2025 (8:59 AM JST). Players interested in participating can simply visit the VIVA NOBOTS Steam store page and click the “Request Access” button to gain entry into the test.

In a recent Steam news post, developer and publisher SHUEISHA GAMES expressed their gratitude for player support and encouraged early testers to provide valuable feedback. “Your insights will help shape the future of this project,” they stated. “Depending on the results of this user test, we may proceed toward an official release!”

Master the Art of Stealth and Strategy

Step into the role of a NOBOT—a secret treasure hunter disguised as an NPC excavation robot—hidden among ancient ruins teeming with rival players. In this thrilling 16-player multiplayer experience, your mission is simple yet challenging: steal as much treasure as possible without being detected.

Each round becomes a tense game of cat and mouse as players blend seamlessly with real AI-controlled bots, digging up loot through a unique slots-style roulette mini-game that also grants powerful buffs. The more treasures you collect, the higher you climb in the rankings—but watch out, because other players are doing the same.

Expose suspicious opponents using the Doubt Gun to reveal their true identities and eliminate them from the match. Successfully calling out a cheater rewards you with extra loot and the spoils they dropped. However, be cautious—one wrong shot at an actual NPC bot could cost you dearly. Real security units patrol the ruins, so staying undetected is key to survival.

Victory can be achieved in two ways: either escape the ruins with your stolen goods intact, or expose three rivals to unlock the "Victory Lap"—a triumphant celebration that declares you the ultimate NOBOT.
