How to Unlock the A Prize Held High Trophy/Achievement in Monster Hunter Wilds

Contrary to what the trophy description might suggest, your target isn't a dragon or a wyvern. Instead, you'll need to focus on capturing the Curioshell Crab with your Capture Net.

Finding the Curioshell Crab can be tricky as it appears across various maps. Our recommended spot is the Scarlet Forest. Start from the base camp and head to Area 6, known as the Flowering Rocks pop-up camp, situated between Areas 2 and 6.

Equip your Capture Net, aim carefully until the reticle turns orange, and then capture the crab. A successful capture will reward you with both a Curioshell Crab and an Ancient Wyvern Coin.

Given the crab's swift movements, anticipate its path and fire ahead to ensure a successful capture. Other locations where the Curioshell Crab frequently appears include Area 13 of the Windward Plains and Area 8 of the Scarlet Forest. While it may spawn in other areas too, these are the spots we've confirmed through testing.
