HoYoverse has announced the launch date for Zenless Zone Zero Version 1.7, titled 'Bury Your Tears with the Past,' set to roll out on April 23rd. This update marks the culmination of Season 1, promising to unravel the intricacies of the ongoing storyline.

What’s in Store in Zenless Zone Zero Version 1.7?

The much-anticipated resolution of the Sacrifice crisis will finally be unveiled in this update. Players, known as Proxies, will delve deeper into Vivian’s complex backstory and uncover the truth about Hugo’s fate, which has been the subject of much speculation. Following Hugo's dramatic fall into the Hollow, tensions between Mockingbird and TOPS have escalated, prompting the Mayor to dispatch a special Void Hunter-rank investigator.

Together with Vivian, Proxies will venture into hostile territory in pursuit of the Sacrifice Core. Vivian’s journey will involve confronting figures from her past, while the Exaltists’ conspiracy begins to unravel, adding layers of intrigue to the narrative.

Here’s the Character Lineup

Two new S-Rank Agents from Mockingbird are joining the fray. Vivian, an Ether Anomaly Agent, gracefully wields a parasol and rapier, delivering significant Corruption damage, especially when combined with other characters' EX Special Attacks. Hugo, an Ice Attack Agent, uses a suitcase that transforms into a scythe, triggering a Totalize effect that increases damage based on the remaining duration of an enemy’s stun.

Additionally, Robin, Mockingbird’s agile Bangboo partner, enters the scene, throwing cards with unpredictable effects. Returning characters include Jane, the Physical Anomaly Agent, and Lighter, the Fire Stun Agent, who will feature in Version 1.7’s banners.

Version 1.7 also introduces new events, such as 'Say It With Flowers,' where players can manage a flower shop, fulfill design requests, and create floral arrangements. Completing these commissions will unlock a permanent floral arrangement mini-game in Quality Time mode and exclusive rewards.
