How It Works

When you touch the screen, a circle appears at the point of contact. Simultaneously, a square moves from the location of your last touch to the new circle, leaving a trail behind it. This creates an evolving piece of art with each interaction. After every 3600 squares, the screen refreshes, but the total count of squares remains displayed, serving as a visual metaphor for time spent on your device.

This format draws a parallel between the number of squares drawn and the passage of time, offering a visual representation of your screen usage. It also creates a heat map, highlighting areas of the screen you interact with most frequently.

Color Play

While the primary goal is to reduce screen time and promote more face-to-face interactions, we've added a playful element with colors. Each new circle and square can be a different color, chosen randomly from a soothing palette to enhance the visual experience without being too distracting. This subtle use of color encourages a calming environment, reminding you to take breaks and engage with the world around you.
