The "Digital Revolution of Devarattam" app, a project born from my passion for preserving cultural heritage, is dedicated to the legends of Devarattam. This app honors Kalaimamani Mr. M. Kumararaman (retired teacher), Kalaimamani Mr. M. Kannan Kumar, and Kalaimamani Mr. K. Nellai Manikandan from Zamin Kodangipatti, recipients of the Kalaimani, Kalaimani, and Ustad Bismillah Khan Yuva Puraskar awards respectively. My deepest gratitude also goes to my Guru, Mr. E. Rajakamulu, and the cherished legends of Devarattam.

The primary aim of this app is to disseminate information about Devarattam and its esteemed awardees. Within the app, you will find detailed descriptions of both. Devarattam, a vibrant folk dance of Tamil Nadu, boasts a rich history. Traditionally performed, and still performed today, by the Rajakambalathu Nayakkar community, this dance comprises 32 fundamental steps, with variations expanding the repertoire to 72 steps. The dancers, adorned with salangai (ankle bells) and holding kerchiefs, gracefully execute the steps to the rhythmic accompaniment of the Deva Thunthumi, a traditional musical instrument.
