Carrom is believed to have originated in the Indian subcontinent. Players flick a striker disk to hit and pot lighter object disks, known as carrom men, into one of four corner pockets. Pick up your striker and aim to become the King or Queen of the Carrom Club board.

The objective is to pocket all nine of your carrom men (either Black or White) and the Red Queen before your opponent does. Similar to pool, billiards, or snooker, Carrom is a "strike and pocket" game that involves skillful use of angles, rebounds, and blocking your opponent's pieces.

For newcomers, Carrom is a strike-and-pocket game similar to billiards or pool. Players strike carrom men (coins) with a striker; the first to pocket their set of coins wins. A single red coin, the Queen, must be pocketed and then covered by another carrom men, or it returns to the center. In a tie, the player who pockets the Queen wins the match.
