"Eye of the Dragon: New Monster-Filled Maze DLC for Fighting Fantasy Classics"

May 16,25(1 years ago)

Tin Man Games has enriched the Fighting Fantasy Classics series with the addition of Eye of the Dragon, now available across all major digital platforms including Android, iOS, and Steam for both PC and Mac. If you're a fan of nostalgic dungeon crawls, this game is a delightful throwback to the classics.

This Is Its Official Digital Debut!

Eye of the Dragon marks its first digital release since its last print in 2010. Penned by Ian Livingstone, the co-creator of the Fighting Fantasy series, this title originally debuted in 2005 during the Wizard Books revival. Interestingly, its origins trace back to a mini-adventure featured in Dicing with Dragons. With this digital launch, Eye of the Dragon proudly takes its place as the 19th title in the Fighting Fantasy Classics collection.

In Eye of the Dragon, players dive into a thrilling adventure set in the monster-filled maze beneath Darkwood Forest. Your mission? Survive the perils and claim the Golden Dragon, the most coveted treasure in Allansia. The adventure begins in a tavern in Fang, where a mysterious stranger presents you with a life-changing opportunity—albeit one that involves drinking a potentially lethal potion.

As you navigate the dungeon, you'll encounter deadly traps, magical artifacts, scattered jewels, and numerous creatures eager to challenge you. Along the way, you might even meet an imprisoned dwarf who could prove to be more than just a typical non-player character.

Eye of the Dragon in Fighting Fantasy Classics Isn’t Just a Static Copy of the Book

Tin Man Games has enhanced the digital version of Eye of the Dragon with several player-friendly features. You can choose from adjustable difficulty modes or opt for the Free Read mode to explore without engaging in combat. An auto-mapping feature ensures you won't lose your way in the labyrinth, while unlimited bookmarks and an integrated adventure sheet help you keep track of your stats and inventory effortlessly.

Eye of the Dragon joins an impressive lineup in the Fighting Fantasy Classics series, including titles like The Warlock of Firetop Mountain, Deathtrap Dungeon, Assassins of Allansia, The Port of Peril, Bloodbones, Forest of Doom, House of Hell, and Trial of Champions. Tin Man Games is also working on more titles to expand the collection further.

Don't miss out on this exciting addition to the Fighting Fantasy Classics series. You can find Eye of the Dragon on the Google Play Store. And while you're at it, be sure to check out our coverage of Pikmin Bloom’s Earth Day Event for more gaming news.
