Path of Exile 2's Hidden Golden Idols: A Guide to Finding and Selling Them

Path of Exile 2 features numerous quests, some less obvious than others. Act 3 introduces a unique collectible: Golden Idols. These aren't typical quest items; they won't appear in your quest log. Unlike other quest items requiring delivery to an NPC, Golden Idols are valuable trade goods. There are five to find.

Locating the Golden Idols

After exploring the Vaal ruins beneath the Ziggurat Encampment and traveling to the past via a portal, you'll arrive in Utzaal (The Drowned City in the present). This ancient Vaal city holds three idols, with two more located in the connected Aggorat area. These idols aren't enemy drops; they're found on the ground or pedestals, often in side rooms.

  • Glorious Idol
  • Golden Idol
  • Grand Idol

• Aggorat Golden Idols:

  • Exceptional Idol
  • Elegant Idol

Selling Your Treasures

Once collected, return to the Ziggurat Encampment and seek out Oswald, located in the north. He'll purchase your idols. Prices vary:

• Golden Idol: 500 Gold
• Grand Idol: 1000 Gold
• Glorious Idol: 1500 Gold
• Elegant Idol: 1000 Gold
• Exceptional Idol: 1500 Gold

Finding all five yields a substantial 6000 gold reward. Given their size and sole purpose as valuable items, sell them promptly to free up inventory space.
