Hello fellow gamers, and welcome to the SwitchArcade Roundup for August 26th, 2024! Today's update is a bit lighter than usual. I'm juggling some other projects, so there are no reviews today. However, we'll cover some new releases and the usual sales updates. At least one new release is quite intriguing, and the sales are pretty decent too. Reviews will hopefully return tomorrow. Let's dive into the highlights!

New Game Releases

Fragrant Story and Papaya's Path ($7.99)

Let's clear up the confusion surrounding Fragrant Story, a late-stage Nintendo 3DS title. While advertised as a robust tactical RPG, the initial release was surprisingly short (around 20 minutes). The reason? The developer rushed to meet Nintendo's 3DS deadline. This version, however, includes all updates, resulting in a much more substantial experience exceeding ten hours of gameplay. For eight dollars, it's a worthwhile purchase for fans of the genre.

Quack Jump ($3.99)

A straightforward platformer, but a solid one nonetheless. With 40 levels and evolving mechanics, it offers decent replayability. At four dollars, it's a fun little diversion.

Underground Station ($7.90)

An idle game where you work in a dungeon to pay off debts. It may not be visually stunning, but it's a welcome change of pace on a day filled with... less desirable AI-generated content.
