Now, they’ve unveiled more tantalizing details about the much-anticipated Reverse: 1999 x Assassin’s Creed crossover, set to feature the legendary Ezio Auditore da Firenze as a playable character.

In a groundbreaking partnership with Ubisoft, this crossover event will celebrate two of the most beloved entries in the Assassin’s Creed series: Assassin’s Creed II and Odyssey. The initial teaser showcased Vertin navigating a rainy street, with the iconic Assassin’s Creed logo shimmering in the distance, setting the stage for an epic adventure.

Get Ready to Welcome Ezio from Assassin’s Creed into Reverse: 1999!

The full details are now public, and the crossover is slated to launch on Android, iOS, and PC in August 2025. Beyond the introduction of Ezio, the Reverse: 1999 x Assassin’s Creed collaboration promises a wealth of thrilling content.

The event is thoughtfully divided into two distinct phases, each brimming with unique Assassin’s Creed-themed narratives and activities. Phase I will immerse players in the Renaissance era of Florence, where Vertin and her team will navigate the 15th-century Italian landscape, deciphering cryptic clues and unraveling mysteries.

Phase II will transport players to the ancient world of Greece, specifically the setting of Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. Fans of the game will recognize familiar events as Vertin and her companions become entangled in historical adventures.

It’s a Special Crossover

This update marks a significant milestone for Reverse: 1999, as it will be the first time that all global servers are synchronized, ensuring that everyone can access the event content simultaneously.

Reverse: 1999 is an innovative time-traveling RPG that blends modern and retro aesthetics. As Vertin, the Timekeeper, who is immune to the enigmatic phenomenon known as The Storm, players embark on a journey through different eras. Alongside her partner Sonetto, Vertin rescues other arcanists affected by temporal shifts following the storms that cause entire periods to vanish.
