LoL: Wild Rift Patch 6.1: Ascending Stars is set to launch on April 16th, ushering in a cosmic transformation that will revamp everything from the menus to the battlefield. This update will take you on an adventure through the Dual Nova galaxy, introducing the Challenger’s Star and Adventure’s Star.

Three exciting new champions are joining the battle in Wild Rift’s latest patch, each with unique and game-changing abilities. First up is Ryze, the Rune Mage, who unleashes immense Area of Effect (AoE) damage and can teleport teammates across the map with his ultimate, Realm Warp. Next, Nocturne, the Eternal Nightmare, thrives on chaos, using Paranoia to plunge enemies into total darkness. Finally, Zilean, the Chronokeeper, manipulates time, slowing down enemies and even reviving allies with Chronoshift.

Several champions are also receiving significant reworks. Garen’s Courage ability will now scale over time, making him even more resilient, while his Judgment ability will shred enemy armor more effectively. Ambessa is transitioning from the jungle to the Baron lane, with tweaks to her damage and life steal. Smaller adjustments are also coming for Diana, Fiora, Jax, Sona, and Kalista, enhancing their performance in various roles.

Beyond champion changes, a new Bandle-inspired Rift is set to shake up non-Ranked modes, featuring Enchanted Gifts that appear through portals during the laning phase. Mages are also in for a treat with long-awaited item updates. The new Bandle Fantasy item adds extra burst damage, Hextech GLP800 slows enemies with frost bombs, and Malignance enhances ultimate abilities, making spellcasters even more formidable.

Ranked mode is also evolving with the launch of the Challenger’s Star, marking the beginning of a new season. This update brings changes to the Ranked store and introduces an easier way to earn seasonal rewards. Midway through the patch, the Adventure’s Star unlocks, featuring AAAARAM—a fresh take on ARAM with added augments and stunning galactic visuals.

The Wild Pass for this patch will offer two stunning skins: Wondertown Twisted Fate and Battlecast Nasus. Twisted Fate’s new look introduces an entirely new skinline, adding to the excitement of this update.
