World of Warcraft's Extended Timewalking Extravaganza: Seven Weeks of Turbulent Timeways!

World of Warcraft players are in for a treat! The Turbulent Timeways event is back, and this time it's even bigger. Running for seven consecutive weeks until February 24th, this event offers a non-stop Timewalking experience across various expansions. Players can earn exciting new rewards, amass Timewarped Badges, and enjoy a significant experience boost. Completing five out of the seven weeks with the Mastery of Timeways buff unlocks the Mastery of the Turbulent Timeways 2 achievement, granting the coveted Timely Buzzbee mount.

Initially launched in September 2023, the Turbulent Timeways previously featured five weeks of Timewalking. This iteration expands upon that success, offering a more extensive journey through WoW's history. The familiar Mastery of Timeways buff returns, providing a 20% experience bonus after completing four Timewalking dungeons.

The Timewalking Tour: A Seven-Week Schedule

The event unfolds across seven weeks, each focusing on a different expansion:

• January 7-13: Mists of Pandaria
• January 14-20: Warlords of Draenor
• January 21-27: Legion
• January 28-February 3: Classic
• February 4-10: The Burning Crusade
• February 11-17: Wrath of the Lich King
• February 18-24: Cataclysm

Each week brings the standard Timewalking quests, dungeons, and raids, along with the chance to earn the Mastery of Timeways buff. Timewalking vendors for each expansion boast new permanent items, including Season of Discovery transmogs at the Classic vendor. Additionally, the Sandy Shalewing pet, previously unavailable, is making a comeback. Completing the weekly Timewalking dungeon quest yields Heroic gear throughout the event.

A Non-Stop Timewalking Adventure and Hints at Patch 11.1

Following the recent 20th-anniversary event (which included 11 weeks of Timewalking!), this event extends the Timewalking streak to an impressive 18 weeks. The Turbulent Timeways' conclusion on February 24th offers a clue about upcoming content. Considering Blizzard's typical release schedule and the holiday season, February 25th is a strong contender for the release of World of Warcraft Patch 11.1, "Undermined," ten weeks after Patch 11.0.7. With Plunderstorm's second run (January 14th-February 17th) and The War Within's major content update soon after, World of Warcraft is setting the stage for an action-packed 2025.
